What are your expectations for the new series of Dr Who?!

Question: I'm less excited about this series than I have been about any of the previous ones, to be absolutely honest. The Ood kinda bore me, visually, although I think there's an interesting concept behind them. And I'm hoping against hope that the Sontarans don't royally suck - hoping, rather than expecting, since their two-part story is by Helen Raynor, who massacred what the Daleks were all about in Daleks in Manhattan last year. I'm expecting way too many companions, and a pretty good explanation of how Rose comes back. I'm expecting the first episode to suck (all first episodes have sucked except Smith & Jones since the series came back). I'm expecting to get more into the flow of the season as it progresses, and to have another chilly thrillfest from Stephen Moffatt's two-part story. There's talk of Davros returning, but I'm not expecting that yet. And I'm expecting to thoroughly enjoy the return of Donna, who has the potential to be the best companion yet since the show's return (real, Sarah-Jane at her peak potential).

And so the clock ticks slowly, slowly, down...

I hope it's good,, cos it has to live up to Torchwood that's just ending... and that's been pretty good...

I'm not sure what to expect with Catherine Tate, I hope it's as good as the others or better, fingers crossed ; ) lol
