Strewth, I don't live in your country, but I know what you're on about.
Somebody has to make a stand at some point, otherwise it all keeps snowballing and the oil companies get richer.
And there is a certain amount of solidarity here....because hopefully the truckers stance will inspire similar stances across the world.
****, we pay ￡1.08 per litre here. Thats a couple of dollars (nearly) so do the math re a gallon........and deisel is even more.

They really aren't making that much of a stand. It is going to take all of them to strike in order for anything to happen.I think it is great that the ones that are striking are doing it. The few hundred that are striking are just a drop in the bucket. My dad is a truck driver and I started to drive. My dad tells me all the time about the chatter on the CB about striking.... but the big company drivers wont strike. They aren't going to get any results with what they are doing. They have to take more drastic measures and they won't because they have to keep food on the table. I myself am fed up with the gas prices and the oil company's .I think we all should strike and stop using gas, but that is impossible.
