i do ask a lot of "why" questions. my guy seems to have moved pass asking "why". doesn't try to make sense of things and just accepts it's already happened. i wish i was more like that...i ask why too much...

I tell them to shut up! I always ask why. Why? Because that's it how I learn things. Now if I want to go around blind and ignorant then yes, why ask why? But if you truly want to know and ultimately enjoy those things around you, be it person, place or thing, always ask why till the day you die.
Yes, it is irritating. However, sometimes you may not "have the right" to ask why? You know, people tend to act very curiously to others who they do not know so much or they are not in the mood of explaining everything. So, you could respect their choice, or not. Your call.
