Question: Do you think is is right? If so then why?
My opinion is that they are belittled because people don't view it as an artform instead of a form of prostitution. It is wrong. Sure there are some sleezy ones out there but a lot of them are beautful, safe, and a true form of art. What do you think?

i agree... I wouldnt mind dancing in a cabaret. i believe it can be an artform.
i would love to be able to do it, but not for like loads of men and stuff just for myself, i hear it is a great way of keeping in shape

I think it is wrong. It is so demening to woman. we are not just a peice of meat!
if it's art then then they wouldn't be doing it for the money and could just as well improve on "art" by doing ballet or interpretation dance

I believe all dancing, no matter what, is beautiful and takes skill- especially burlesque- I believe it takes beauty and talent- women show innate power thru beauty and dance
I say live and let live. If they are not hurting anyone, let them do whatever they choose to do. I wouldn't do it, but that's me!
I think exotic dancing can be a form of art. But for the most part it has become just a sleezy industry. It depends on how the woman comes off. Not really the place they are employed by. Its all up to the woman how she is perceived.

As long as the girl doesn't feel belittled I have no problem with it. I go once in awhile myself. Most are doing it to pay the bills or put themselves through college. I think done properly it can be a beautiful show to watch.
