Yes, I was pulled over one night after work because I released the clutch suddenly at a set of lights (I was eating and driving at the same time and consequently there was a loud scretch).
Anyway the police decided to search my car and after finding nothing, searched my KFC (which I obviously wanted to finish but wouldn't after they fingered it). Then they ran criminal checks on me and checked the rego of the car etc. Then after finding nothing still they breathalized me. Then after still nothing, they drug tested me. Still nothing they let me go and followed me, so I decided to call the police and report them as I was driving and they pulled me over again and gave me a ticket for using my phone while driving.

Yea. Between my ex & my brother I've been through everything from a speeding ticket to 1st degree assault. Sad part is anyone can get you locked up by saying you did something.

Not me directly, but a friend of mine was getting railroaded into prison by a local court system that had a grudge against him and they stacked the jury against him. Fortunately for my friend his wife was on top of all of the paperwork and she put together enough evidence for the judge to drop the charges. The judge would not admit that what happened had happened but he got my friend out of "the system" to keep him quiet.My friend was torn about whether to go public or not and he decided that he likes his life and liberty more than he wants to mess with them, he knows that they are bigger than he is and they do not mind showing it. I would not have believed it but I was there and I saw much of the documentation and was even in court one of the times when the DA flat out lied. Yes corruption still exists in small towns in the US, and probably in the not so small cities of the US and the rest of the world.
