Big bird is retired? I haven't seen sesame street on the TV for years...unless only the USA gets it! Anyhow, birds don't live as long as humans, and if he was on TV when I was little he must be dead. Any big birds on the TV are replacements. Maybe you could ask around anyway, see if anyone knows him and he wants a part time job as your reacher.
