Trying to reconcile with my father and realizing he wasn't worth it

In-laws, relatives, and friends.
People (relatives and friends) deliberately being mean to our children and I have to explain why. It really pisses me off to see our children so let down when they didn't do anything wrong.
So, I do what any respectable father would do. I fight for them.
Another year goes by and I have to improvise for our kids again.
No santa clause. (I still can't trust people)
When I never fought for the one i truly love.
I didn't learn how to study and have a good time at the same time, and now I just procrastinate. - It's my dad's disappointment too.

frankly speaking my dear Friend i tell you in my life i never had any disappointment towards my carrier or my personal life but one disappointment is there that from where i have got the habit of drinking that is the only feeling i have and i want to quit it.If this is solve then even this disappointment i want have because u know that i over Indian culture what people think if they that this person drink.i am thank full that my wife knows and she never ask me but i doest like this is my small and if u take even a big disappointment in my life and i want to get out of this problem.
