Ha! I am divorced now, but when I was married for a year, I got a medical settlement from a car accident 5 years previous. I spent it on baby things, fixing up our house(that we had bought 2 months before marrying), then put the rest into a joint account. My ex husband used that money to pay his child support to his ex girlfriend, for two children I took care of half the week. Keep in mind that I worked full time until I was 8 months pregnant, took care of all household duties(including the garbage and lawn!), pets, children, and a big garden. When he found out I took out $200 from this joint account, while he was on his annual 2 1/2 week 'boys trip' to Florida, he came back and closed the account (don't know how he did this without my signature), and put the rest into an account under his name only. We are not married any longer, but I would always make sure MY money stayed MY money in the future.
He got the house, the property, and the dog because he HID all his money in his business, I could not afford a lawyer, or qualify for Legal Aid.
I got joint custody, and my car.
I like to think that I trusted him, and loved him at one point. Atleast for our son's benefit, I never dis him to my son. It's not about the ex and me anymore, it's about a little boy with bright blue eyes, red hair and dimples, who does trust us.

Cornbread muffins.

No! I don't have that problem with my man! He is generous when it comes to money!

Corn muffins!

Wonder only takes wooden nickels.
Does that count as real money ?
* wondering *

Corn Dog Muffin Tops

NO - I have a mature relationship with my SO and we each pay our own way.

well seen as I'm your pimp b*tch, i think you should just hand it over like usual.

Biscuit...yours

Oh, man! At my last job we always got about a $500 Christmas bonus. I went for years without telling my (now) ex husband about it. One day he went to the bank with me about a week after we got it and this guy I worked with came up and was about ask how I liked that bonus. Thank the Lord he could read eyes and zipped it!

I did it because he would have come up with something stupid to buy instead of Christmas presents. He wasn't much on Christmas.
Biscuits-got some baking now!

i tell my husband every cent i get. biscuits defiently

Yes, My husband likes to spend money.
Biscuits.

corn muffins

Um.. the poll question is a bit random next to the other question u asked.. Anyways, no and muffins

I have to say yes, I do. I like to keep cash on me for minor emergencies, she sees cash as something that must be spent as rapidly as possible or we could all die. If I have cash on me and she asks I usually say no.

I like your muffin. Uh, cornbread muffins of course!

Yes! Because my wife wants to be all responsible and sh-t and pay bills, buy food and stuff. I keep trying to tell her that their is pot to buy woman.

but she never listens ............... b-tch

just kidding, love you.
She is on here too

I always tell him anyways, but he's always suspicious on how I end up with $$$. Sheesh.
Lol, on a funny note he saw a receipt from the bank the other day & didn't recognize the name on the top of it (lol, it was probably the teller or something stupid) but my signature was on it. I had to ask him if he thought I was what, trickin' and then handing out reciepts for tax purposes?

its been so long ago I can't remember ......sorry

lord yes, my husband is a recovering alcoholic/drug user who went through money like we owned a bank. i got my own checking acct then (better late than never) and it's been that way ever since. he's responsible now, and has never been stingy, but i still like it this way....biscuits

Yes I have, I'll go with the muffins.

I'm always reluctent to discuss money with my wife, 'cos despite the fact the we are financially comfortable, SHE is stingy...

Once you have a level of comfort, living like you're poor makes no sense at all!

I love a good muffin!

No. I told because I was making a point about being careless with money. Besides which, the trust issue came into play.

But you know my feelings on this particular subject, and they are..zipper mouth.

umm..biscuits I think..not sure I could handle anything but plain food right now.

My ex spent money
faster than I could make it.
I hid what I could.

I'm single so whats mine is mine...although I do have trouble with other family members wanting to borrow money like when they know I've just been paid or something. That sort of irks me.

biscuits
