Is it true that one of the most intimate relationships possible...?!

Question: is the one between a victim and their enemy?

Answers: is the one between a victim and their enemy?

It is a vicious thing. Human nature has dark sides that have to be fed, somehow.... For the benefit of balance! A victim and an enemy establish a dependency. One, cannot exist without the other. It seems it is an endless fight for the victim to victimize their enemy and the enemy to identify with the pain and the fear of the victim.
My!! How on Earth have I said all that!! :)

No.

...I don't have experience with this, but I've heard it's possible for a victim to sympathize with an "opponent"...they may become drawn in to their darkness in pity or empathy...I also understand it may be the most difficult to de-program, as well

no

yes and the most awarding

Considering that I was beaten up and didn't feel one bit of intimacy towards my attackers I'd say no.

NO that is sick

that is very interesting-I think that may be the case in some relationships where one is an emotional abuser ,because they know their victim so well that they are able to finely manipulate them most of the time. There was abook I heard of which I didnt manage to track down called "intimate terrorism"-I think it dealt with this subject in great detail

like when a hostage has a connection with the person keeping them hostage .. I think it is called Stockholm syndrome or something.. what is it called ?

Sadly, it is.
The abused depending on the abusive...

yes, thats because the victim is under the clutches of the abuser making the relationship more intimate if that is how we interpret it. the connection between them is close enough, one is there to inflict hurt, the other is to protecting herself
