Ever been to a funeral - and a cell phone from inside the coffin began ringing?!

Question: And then you noticed the departed's spouse was absent...

Answers: And then you noticed the departed's spouse was absent...

Yes...

Hasn't everybody?

(The general "Funeral Rule of Thumb" in THAT situation is...

...don't answer it...it might be their drug dealer...)

*can't say i have

In the event that would happen, someone would need to restrain me to keep me from messing with whoever was on the other end of that phone.

That has never happened to me.I hope it never does. That would be so awkward and weird.

All the time...

S***! We forgot to tell her!

No, but that is a funny question. If it really happened, the spouse had one heck of a sense of humor. Either that, or the cell phone was lost and they tried to find it by calling the number to listen for the ring. <grin>

Yes and no.

The spouse was there but the cell phone belonged to one of the workers at the funeral home. It had slipped outta his pocket and into the coffin. It went off during the service while people were telling stories about the "dearly departed". Everyone couldn't help but laugh...

Haha. Not that I remember...

Peace! ?

it's my cell phone
i accidentally dropped it in when i went to see the body
*sigh* it was the latest model...
i didn't dare to take it out...lol, dead bodies!!!
