To some extent, people should have the freedom to say whatever they like. However society now days looks down upon sexist, racist, ageist, disabled prejudiced etc statements and through the legal system, chastise those who do.
Those who SHOULD have their opinions suppressed, (terrorists and religious fanatics) don't seem to be silenced and have the freedom to incite racial and religious hatred
As long as people say it and are prepared to sign their name to it - I'm all for it!
I am not for 'freedom of speech' where people use their anonymity to be vicious, offensive and abusive.
yes to a degree, but some people just say anything , lies, stir trouble and cause problems, that there really is no need of. A person worth listening to will use tact in their free speech.

Freedom of speech is the devine right of evrybody. Err, well, that's what people think, but in fact it doesn't seem that way. Look up Freedom of Speech in Wikipedia and see how many restrictions on the freedom of speech there are and you will be shocked.
It seems there isn't such a thing after all.
