Where is a good place at home to put keys so as not to lose track of them?!
Question: I put a hook at the back door going into the garage. I hang my keys there. I have to have the keys to start the car & to open the garage.
When I walk into the house, I always come from the garage into the kitchen. Before I put my purse down the keys go on this hook.
I got into this habit about 16 months ago, because I got tired of searching for the keys.

I put mines on the coffee table in my living room
we have a a flower pot that we put them in when we get home
i dont use it and i always lose my keys, but everyone else does

Put a nail on the wall by the door and hang your keys from there.
I hang mine right next to the door right when I walk in
I keep mine on my purse. I got one of those hooks on my key chain (the ones where it stays closed, but you can push in the side of it to open), so I can hang them on the loop of my purse's shoulder strap.
A key hook shelf is also a good idea.

I have a small hook on the wall right next to the front door.
I have a small metal basket by the TV. When I get home anything in my pockets goes in there. Of course the key car gnomes still find my keys every once in a while.
On the TV stand because every time you have the TV on, you will remember that they are there.
You can find a "Key" box at almost any locksmith shop or hardware store.
You can then mount it inside a cabinet or closet and keep all your keys in it. This way they are allways in the same place if you remember to use it or if you remember which cabinet you mounted it in.

I have a hook, but they don't always make it there... I used to have a fancy bowl that held them for me, but I tossed them just right into it one day, and it broke -
Now I just put them in my purse after I unlock the door, and I may have to dig a little to find them, but I know they are there.
