If you let life rule your thoughts, does that mean that you also think of death?!

Question: Definitely.

Life is short and one should cherish every moment that he/she is above ground.

Each new day is a new chance to make a difference, to make a friend, to tell someone that you care, to let them know that you are her for them and that if tomorrow never comes then at least today was brighter for having known them.

Yes, death is the great road sign that faces us all, and; so long as it stay in our horizon, we feel fine, but the moment we see it closing in on us; we come to think "Wow what an amazing journey. It all seems too short and yet too long."

Of course. It's going to happen weather you like it or not. And not soon enough for me. Life SUCKS!!

I do....ALOT.

Wow, that's deep....not. Name me one person on this planet who has never or will never think about subjects on life and/or death.

Of course you do. I'm pretty sure that most people has thought about death sometime in their life. Death is one of those things that you don't want to think about but you still wonder what it's like. Thinking about death shouldn't terrorize us, instead it should prepare us for the future. After all, we still have to go through with it no matter what. This also applies to the religious people who thinks that God will save them because they still have to die before being saved.

Life never rules your thoughts. Your thoughts rule your life.

not nesecarilly darling.
depends on what direction life points to...
things happen for a reason, and sometimes you'll never find the reason why something happened....
you shouldnt let life "RULE" your thoughts.... let life flow WITH your thoughts...
Don't let anything overpower your thoughts...
if you are thinking of death, talk to a close friend/family member... or better yet a councillor/doctor..
Hang in there sunshine =]

I don't think so, life is ruling part of my thoughts and I'm ruling the rest*

...yes, without question...for I know someday I will die and it no longer frightens me for I have glimpsed the other side just for one nanosecond, mind you...but I know I will carry on...it will just be from another "room"

Everything you see is life, every last element in every last thing you see is life. God is life. Thoughts of death as well are life. It seems everybody thinks of death. I feel knowing that one day one will die means that one thinks of death. I offer you a suggestion. If you would perhaps be more specific with what you're referring to when you put the word "life" in the question, I (speaking for myself) could most likely offer you an answer that is more gratifying.

To clarify your question. Would a person who was never told about or observed death before be able to create any perception of it?

The answer is that there must be some some biological perception of death which would explain why a mouse is scared of a cat.

yeah, the end of not just breathing but thinking too. its all part of the cycle.

If there is no awareness of Death -even at the back of our Mind- we cannot define Life. Life and Death are together in everything we do, we think, we feel...

equilibrium is everything....
