Do you think Bush is going to declare a national emergency and cancel elections?!

Question: if he does that then he can remain as president.

Answers: if he does that then he can remain as president.

Yes, I wouldn't be suprised if he'll do something like that.

Maybe, you will never know

No and No!!

no i dont think so. i dont think he'll go to such desperate measures

No, I do not think that he will.

Dont give him any ideas

Havent we suffered enough

no why would he??

it wouldnt surprise me but how? with what?

I don't think Bush will do that. I think he is trying to get out the White House ASAP! All the media and paparazzi can drive a person crazy
=]

ahhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahah that would be soooo freakin funny!! if he did! but too bad they would still have the election another day!!

.:?T0otz?:.

no

WOW, That's a great idea. You should be one of his advisors.

No he wouldn't do that

There is a first time for eveything. I guess we will wait and see how they spin it!

yeah but don't tell him..he might actually do it

It could be worse. He could let the elections go on and we'd be stuck with McCain, Bill's wife or Obama.

no

Yes he will! He knows that that is the only way he can put the elections off and stay in office so the troops will not be brought home!

No he would not do so,America is a democratic country and the constitution is there to make sure that elections can be done on a stipulated time ,

No, it won't ever happen. According to the amendments added to the US Constitution after Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected to his fourth term as president during World War II, a president cannot serve in office longer than 2 terms. Mr. Bush is required to step down at the end of his second term in January 2009. No action or order he issues can change this fact. He also cannot stop the election process that is used to select a new president. He is not a dictator and cannot act like one. He has to obey the law and the Constitution just like any other person in the country. If he tried to make himself permanently in office, I can guarantee that the Justice Department, at the direction of the Congress and the federal court system, would issue a warrant for his arrest and remove him from the White House. It's what the founding fathers called "Checks and Balances". No one branch of the US government is allowed absolute power. The other 2 branches would prevent it.
