Cartoons...The news is too depressing. I'd rather read the paper in the morning when I still don't understand what the heck is going on.

Depends on what kind of cartoon it is. And i only watch the news if something really bad happens like an earthquake or if aliens have invaded earth or something like that anyway.

Depends on what time it is, if it is when the kids are awake it's cartoons. I watch the late news when i can but it is cartoons all day.
well it depends on what you consider cartoons...if you consider simpsons/family guy a cartoon..then cartoons for sure....but if we're talking about childish shows, then i'd go with the news.
