well i get a lot of compliments on my profile and all i do is put a skinny layout and hide my friends and comments (it looks pretty cool) then i take a nice picture of myself and put cool graphics on it, like the one i have now. Put photography on your page but photography that you like and it will really make it pop. The goo thing about a skinny layout is that u can put a lot of stuff on it without your page looking crowded and crappy. Thats the point of hiding friends and comments, but if you don;t want to hide them you dont have to. Your picture is nice

- Add more pics on your page and a good 'About Me'
- Not toooo much glittery stuff or html.. It freezes other people's comps and it irritates me!
- Blogs are good it makes you more interesting

It looks a little bit bare. So my suggestion would be to add things that fit your personality, ya know, stuff that you like. Just don't go overboard.
I definitely like the layout you chose.
