Do you know people who leave things lying about after themselves?!
Question: My wife sometimes has a habit of leaving baby things and her clothes on the floor and on more than one occasion I've tripped over them ^_^. Does not have to be just the floor it can be anywhere such as taking things out and not putting them back.

I hear ya.
I have a house full here and someone is always leaving something behind. I have my two younger brothers who I take care of, then my fiance and of course last but not least: I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old running around everyday....I totally understand.
Its the same thing everyday, from the toilet paper, to the toothpaste lid, to the clothes on the floor and not in the basket, to using a million cups instead of just one, to MP3s and PSPs being left all over the place....homework, backpacks, army men, barbie dolls....I tell ya; I think I have already gone crazy and I am only 24. What a shame eh? Laziness; I hate it. :) It sucks being the one to clean everything up....

Yeah, I used to do that all the time. So did my ex; he'd come over and leave crap laying around my house. I couldn't handle it, which is what helped me clean up my own act.

My husband and 2 daughters...They think that a magic fairy comes in the night and picks it all up! Do you know what i hate the most!!! When they drop there dirty clothes right next to the wash basket! Drives me insane!
Some people are comfortable in chaos. People are as clean as they need to be, to know where their things are. Perhaps your wife has a very good memory and can remember exactly where she puts things without the need to have a place for everything and everything in its place.

Yes - my boyfriend of 3 years moved in with me at christmas. He's the messiest person ive ever met, so much so ive had to ask him to move out.
When he respects my home then i'll have him back but in the meantime he can make his own home a mess.
He's 41 and my son who is 5 is tidier.
My 12 year old son.
We got burgled a couple of years ago - his room was actually tidier afterwards!
