We met on LiveJournal & we've been texting daily ever since!

I have my cell number in my signature for my email account & I get random emails from unknown people all of the time. That's what phones are for: talking!

Probably I wouldn't. I'd encourage my Interned friend to using e.g. Skype instead of typical phones. It's free, isn't it ? Would you rather pay for calling my Polish mobile number ?
