Survey:..How many times a week do you drink alcohol?!
Question: Blows me away how many people don't drink. I've drank alcohol a minimum of 3 times a week, more usually 5 times a week my entire adult life. However, I never drink in the day, I never drink excessively before a work day, and I usually drink only after the kids are in bed, which is around 9:30 - 10:00. I consider my self to be a very tightly controlled alcoholic. It does not affect my work, family or life other than maybe my 46 year old body aint a slim as it used to be (better than most my age though).
I drink because my parents did, and their parents did, and so on. My great grandfather was a booze runner during prohibition! Its in my blood.
I drink because I have to shut down. My mind is the type that spins endlessly and if i don't relax regularly, It's possible I'd think myself into a stress explosion. As it is now, I'm pretty sane. Chinese medicine works great for the rare times when a hangover threatens.
But, to each their own.
Am I alone in this? C'mon folks! There must be some none destructive alcholics out there? Chime in folks, tell em it's OK!

I drink half to one glass of white wine daily (before dinner, while I'm cooking).
