Yeah, I'd go for the preggos too. Nothing against the older folks, but come one, that's essentially two people there.

Pregnant women.

Pregnant Women

Elderly people. Why should they stand and want to sit when we can stand and be fine with it and it won't hurt! Elderly People deserve it.

I'm an elderly woman who had to give up her seat for that pregnant woman because none of the men would do so........so there MANLY MEN!

I would willingly give my seat up for either!

either one. it is actually more likely the pregnant woman is healthier than the elderly. pregnancy doesn't make you an invalid. if she's nine months pregnant ,tho, she's likely very uncomfortable and should avoid buses anyway. perhaps it should really come down to which ever one is able to stand better. altho, i'll bet that most of the passengers are healthy males who don't stand for anyone. all the elderly and the expectant moms should be able to all sit.I also would give my seat to a mom with a baby and or small children.

elderly,,, the woman is fine......it does NOT kill pregnant women to stand....and it's NOT painfull in anyway..... Old people... can hardly walk,, let alone stand.

------MOTHER OF 3 BOYS

I WOULD GIVE ME SIT UP FOR EITHER ONE OF THEM. and im pregnant so thanks for all of those who said pregnant women*

Elderly. Pregnancy is not a disability, and most pregnant women are in good health.

both

I would say it depends upon who looks like they need it the most.Ideally there should no seat taken by young, healthy people when someone else might need it more. Most expectant women enjoy good health during their pregnancy ( some are swimming, doing jazzercise etc) just like some elderly people enjoy good health in their later years.Sometimes older people are not as steady on their feet, especially on a moving vehicle.Sometimes their vision is less than perfect. Both of these things combined with the crush of harried commuters can make for a very stressful journey even a short one.In the past good manners and etiquette would say that a gentleman should give up his seat for the elderly,a lady or an expectant mother.Today with "equality" it seems respect and good manners have gone out with the bath water and it is every person for themselve.Who should get the seat.... the person who needs it most.
