Yeah because I'm a very modest person.. and I have a LOT of friends. So it's a hassle to think of a number or name them. Also, I feel like I'm bragging if I do that. :/

I hate it too, because it doesn't matter. It's so immature, especially when high schoolers ask you. What are you supposed to do, count them off your fingers? Personally, I'd MUCH (if you could bold, italisize, and underline this word, I would) rather have a couple of close friends that I can trust, etc. then a ton of friends that mean nothing to me, we talk bad about eachother behind our backs, and we don't respect eachother at all just so I can add them to some list that means nothing. The more friends you have doesn't equal the better of a person you are. But people that think that usually realize soon enough, but they wind up learning from their mistakes.
