Car Lovers: Automatic or Manual (Which do you prefer?)?!
Question: I love my cars (I have 5 of them) and learned to drive a stick several years ago. You know when they say once you try something you never go back? That ain't necessarily true but I haven't bought a automatic transmission car in years. I love driving manual transmission vehicles (I think it's more fun!) and want to know how you feel. Thanks.
(Manual cars get better gas mileage and you know we really need that now!)

i love to drive n ride a stick =)
I prefer manual also but
when you go to trade it vehicle in it has less value because of it.
Few years ago I got an extremely great deal on a Vette that had an automatic...could not pass up the price 50th ann ed

Meh. ^_^ I'm a lousy driver, don't drive much these days....
If I did though it would have to be an automatic. I just don't have the coordination to handle the clutch--rowing the gears is fine, but my feet don't like to cooperate for some reason.
I know...It's a learned skill, and practical too. I just don't know it....like I don't know a lot about driving cars.
Just saying.... ^_^ It's a shame too, because I do get the gearhead yearnings once in a while....
