Yes, they're called trolls. And they are horrible.
Yes they do. I've answered automotine questions to the best of my ability giving detailed step by step instructions on how to make the repair and got a thumbs down while other people who gave an answer "like send it to a professional to fix it" got a thumbs up. This includes simple repairs that only take a few minutes! These people would have them pay 2 or 300 to have someone else fix it rather than invest 10 minutes and save alot of money! I don't understand it!

i think that some people do just to fulfill their insecruities. others do it just because they think it's fun. me? i think it's just plain rude. when you ask a question you should ask it to get an answer, not to toy with people's minds.
