I think like, the lady is trying hard ,
and has like all this hope and stuff,
but doesn't want to have all this hope because it makes her feel worse that her life isn't going right, and shes not successful in what she wants to be succesful and has all this hope in!.
So she does all these things to make her forget and not have all that hope that makes her feel worse and stuff!.
I don't really know, I just wanted to answer because I felt bad that no one else did!.

I don't know, maybe the song was written 5 years after something really bad happen!. To me it sound like after 911, whoever sing is saying that he can get over what happen and everyday he hopes that he does,He want something to happen the end of the war, I don't know, that's how my drunky head is seen it right now!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
