I can because I myself wear contacts and sometimes I wear my glasses!. If I look in a mirror, my eyes, with the contacts in, will have a more "glassy" shine!.
If you're close to the person, you can easily see the edge of the contacts!. But even if you are not very close, you see they have "glassier" pupils, like with more shine and light reflection in them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If they are clear contacts I have to look closely so I can see the lenses, if they are colored I can tell apart from the persons natural eye color, unless it is the first time seeing the person!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
