Question: As I was flipping threw the channels I came across!.!.!.!?
A Children's cartoon that was about Jesus and The virgin mary!. It showed the words to a chatholic prayer song so the kids could sing along!.
My question to you is!.!.!. Do you think Public Television should be allowed to air such programs!. I mean if I was a parent and my children stubled apon this program and starting watching it I would be appauld!. Idk just something to think about!.
Oh and dont tell me to put this in R&S because I figured I would get more answers here!.

I think so, yes!. If you saw your children watch a show about what you believe in, you wouldn't have to same reaction!. You would want them to learn, right!? I'm Catholic, and I sometimes watch shows about other religions just to get a feel of how they work!. I watch them with my 8 year old brother and he asks me questions!. I think it's great that he learns about other religions as well as his own when he compares them!.

I think it's strange!. Kids don't really know what they're learning then anyways!. It'll just make them ask a million questions, don't you think!? But then again, little kids don't really control the remote too often, so Iguess it's the parent's choice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'd rather they stumble on that then some other show filled with language, sex & violence!. There are worse things on tv and with a child that age a parent should always monitor what they're watching anyway so if they dont agree with it, just switch the channel!. You cant censor kids from religion, they're going to see it from everywhere; school, media, friends !.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sing-a-longs were always my favourite as a child!. And I suppose as a child, you wouldn't really have a clue what Jesus and Mary were unless you went to church with your parents, so you could probably think they were like Santa!.
