k so one of my friends (windows user) Always speaks crap about Linux and now he has a virus in his computer!.
What should i do:
A) Go and help him
B) Tell him I don't know how to use windows

The proper answer is (A), but you should handle this situation a certain way, such as how my older brother would!.!.!.
Firstly, show up shaking your head about the ordeal!. Look genuinely disappointed at the whole affair!. Lecture him about the ups and downs of internet surfing, and how progressively dangerous it is not to be careful when surfing the web!. Go on and on at the mouth about how stupid he must feel at this juncture, and repeatedly instigate that you probably warned him somewhere along the line, but that he probably didn't listen to you quite carefully enough!. Ask him if he had considered purchasing a worthwhile internet antivirus program, and if he names any specific brand or software, dismiss it as being the worst crap on the market currently, and then chastise him for not being more selective and researching the topic more carefully!. Sigh deeply every few minutes, speaking to yourself in third person to repeat statements like "I just KNEW this was going to happen you know" and "well at least you had the intelligence to call someone like me to come help you, but it's too little too late in my opinion"!.!.!. then after fiddling around with different crap that has nothing to do necessarily with this fact that there is a virus on the computer, inform him that he's "done it up pretty good this time", and that it's going to cost him good money to fix it, or optionally he can "just whipe the whole system and start from scratch"!.
Let him stew for a minute or two, absorbing what you had to say; then tell him you're joking, and that he should go buy Norton, because you don't have the foggiest clue what to do!. Then go home and laugh until you pee yourself!.
