if you are over dressed then take off or alter your accessories, hair, or make up, untuck your shirt, take your tie and/or jacket off etc etc
if you are underdressed then add more make up, button up your shirt and tuck it in etc etc
underdressed is just worse because you cant always do something about it and people will look down on you more than if you are overdressed!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Actually, I've never been under dressed for an event!. I was entirely over dressed for a wedding reception that was held at a Knights of Columbus banquet hall one time and I obviously didn't get the memo that hoodies and jeans would be acceptable!. Deplorable!

I do not partake in the dress thing!. I dress for me and I am comfortable with me no matter how I am dressed!. It make me chuckle to go to these dress up affairs and see people putting on the ritz they cannot afford and then there is me dress sensibly and comfortable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
When I'm overdressed I feel ridiculous!. Usually me mum dresses me when I feel overdressed!.
