First of all, no animal is pointless!. All animals should be treated well and not cruely!. Even if they are ants or pigs or rats or mosquotos!. Even if u dunt like the animal just dealt with the fact that they have feelings too just like us!. THey have the power to kill u in a sec ( tigers, elephants) but they dont because they are kind!. Even animal sex is brutal, because animals like to mate with their own species and let them do so!. Humans hav three types of genders and with various positions unlike animals so my point is be nice and no animal is pointlessWww@Enter-QA@Com
I cannot answer that because I feel everything has a purpose even if arrogant humans don't believe so!. We are not omnipotent and do not know everything!.
Ants have a purpose as do flys, beatles and other creepy crawlys, even though they are annoying!. Without some of these insects, we'd have dead things laying all over the place not decomposing!. I'm sure the ant haters would rather smell dead and rotten road kill!. They also have a very superior and organzied social structure!. They work!. A limpet!. It spends its entire life stuck to a rock!. That's it!. It does nothing else!. Mussels are not much better!.
