I'm fiercely proud of the English ability to take each problem as it comes, without panic or fear! It is a tiny country by comparison to many, nd held out against!.!.!. but was also invaded and serviant to a great many conquerers! But it learnt from its mistakes, & has yet to be invaded since 1066!.!. William the Conquerer!. It has, if not the least equipped(by far!!) the fiercest and bravest armed forces in the world!.!.!.!.!. and is proud of its history!.!.!.!. no matter what! It had the courage to break from the Holy Roman Empire, and afterwards repel attack after attack of millions of hired mercenaries on the Popes behalf, the French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, later Viking attacks, the Prussians, the Scots, Celts, Picts and Welsh, discovered and colonised 2/3rds of the earth, defeated repeated Germanic tribal attacks, two world wars, and is a leading world peace keeper!. The resulting attitude of English people is often seen as obtuse and disparaging!.!.!. but it's an in built self defence!.!.!.!. and pride!
