Yes, it should be legalized!.
1!. Our prisons are at the bursting point and too many REAL criminals are getting released to ease the overcrowding!.
2!. Our courts are incredibly backed up with simple possession cases!.
3!. The only ones who benefit from it being illegal is the black market which happily reaps in billions every year - tax free!.
4!. It would need to be grown = jobs (plus income tax for the government)!.
5!. It would need to be processed and packaged = jobs (plus income tax for the government)!.
6!. It could be controlled and regulated like alcohol and tobacco products meaning 18 - 21 years old to purchase!.
7!. Marijuana shops would open = jobs (plus income tax for the government)!.
8!. The marijuana itself could be taxed just like alcohol and tobacco = money for the government!.
It still amazes me that alcohol and tobacco, which cause a staggering amount of deaths every day remain legal and available on every corner, while the mellow little weed is demonized!. The war on weed is a costly and losing battle!. Smokers are going to smoke it whether it's legal or not - we learned that during Prohibition with alcohol!. I very strongly believe that weed should be legalized! I do not see anything wrong with smoking weed! And I honestly don't believe that kids will be smoking it anymore if it were legalized! These days kids can get just about anything as easily as adults anyway! I think if alcohol can be legal, then marijuana should be too! Please dont take it lightly!. Its a fact that i have been given food twice a week by my mother-in-law due to steep increase in commodity prices!. My food contains green grass, weed plants which were boiled and fried in motor oil and served to me with the sauce made from the pale , dry grass!.So weed is the source of my food from mlast plenty of years and since than i have been demanding for the legalisation of weed!. but few would be grooms are against it with an apprehension that if it has been legalised , they may be forced to eat same food as i m eating !.Www@Enter-QA@Com
