Because they trust the spell checker!. I suspect you are American, which is why "flavor" is the correct spelling for you (and for people you probably know)!. If your spell checker is catching "flavor" and suggesting "flavour," I suspect you have your language set to some form of English other than US English!. You might want to change that!. Once your language is set correctly, the spell checker is actually fairly reliable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
that's the UK spelling!. Quite a few people are from the UK/Australia

That is not a misspelling!. In some countries that is how it is spelled!. We spell favorite and they spell favourite!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They're probably not using the spell checker -- "flavour" is the British spelling, and we have a fair number of people from the U!.K!. here!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
