Because humans (as well as cats & dogs, btw!.!.!.LOOK at your pet food labels!) can not!.!.!.simply aren't capable of digesting corn!. We get NO nutrition from it!.!.!. nada, nil, nothing!. However, it tastes pretty good to humans so we eat it, and it makes dog & cat food cheap (though terribly unhealthy), so we eat it, anyway!. Oh, and also!.!.!. raw corn IS digestable!.!.!.by humans (don't know about cats & dogs)!. But, few people eat it uncooked!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
