How to Look Like Massie
The Additude: Let me make this very clear!. Do NOT use the same kind of humor as Massie!. This will only make you look like an "LBR" as Massie would say!. I recently witnessed a girl in my homeroom make a joke in the same way that Massie does in the books!. Painful!. Absolutly painful!. The guys thought that it was funny, but all the girls in the class had read the books except for one!. They all knew that she was a lame fake!. She got made fun of for the rest on the day and ignored completly the day after by anybody that read the books!.
The Terms: The same thing goes for the terms as does for the additude!. Do NOT say things such as "LBR" (realize how I put it in quotations earlier and didn't say it seriously) or "GLU" (I'm sure that if Massie realized that glue is made parcially out of poor Brownie's relatives she would stop using the term immediatly)!. This only emphasizes on your utter fake-ness!. If you want to go ahead and make terms of your own, then do so!. It will probably have the same effect as Massie's terms do in the books, as long as they are original!.
The Room: The "iPad" is very signature for Massie!. Morrocan themed rooms are very in at the moment!. Another idea that not many people have thought of is to do the opposite of Massie's room!. Have everything be varying shades of purple (but make sure that they are lighter and darker, not different purples; i!.e!. blue-purple and red-purple together) and then have the duvet be sparkling white!. No, I don't mean with sequins!.
Hair: Massie has beautiful long, light to medium brown hair!. It can be worn curly or straight!. Just remember that it needs to be very silky, shiny, and have volume!. It is possible to be a blonde, red, black, or aubern -haired Massie-type though!. However, if you insist on doing so get it done by a professional over winter vacation (if you do it during the summer or spring break it will bleach out quickly) and about a few days to a week later get some honey/dirty blonde, light brown, and darker brown highlights in it!. I say this because no natural hair color is all one color and therefore if your hair is monotone it will look dyed!. The highlights of various shades make it look much more natural!. Sugested brand to make your hair look like Massie's are: Garneir Fructise, SunSilk, Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, and Frederic Fekkai!. Do NOT use Brilliant Brunette line of shampoos and conditioners!. They give you dandruff and nobody wants that!. The hair care products, such as glossing creams, work okay and don't give you dandruff though!.
Make-Up: Massie wears light makeup that is classic, yet trendy!. Her favorite sotre for makeup is MAC Cosmetics!. She also like Sephora!. These are the best makeup stores and you should be getting your makeup there anyways!. Typical makeup for the day would include a touch of eyeliner (any color that isn't obnoxious is basically exceptable, although black, brown, and white are the basics), some mascara (black, brown, or dark blue!.), lip gloss concealer, and either a tinted moisturizer or a mineral foundation!. Choose a mascara that will be beneficial to you!. If want the all around best lashes choose one the lengthens, volumizes, and curls!. also use an eyelash curler; but never use a heated one because they dry up your eyelashes! The looks that this makeup sould compose is eiter dewy or matte skin, nice bright eyes, and moisturized, full, glossy lips!.
Clothes: Your clothing should reflect your individual personality just as much as it does Massie's!. Choose clothes that look like the kind of thing that she would wear, but make sure that they also compliment you!. Just because Massie is rich doesn't mean that everything she wears is Dior and Chanel!. Some of the best brands to buy are BCBG Girl, Guess, Bebe, Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, anything from Saks, Bergdorfs, and Nordstroms!. Basically, keep up with the trends, but start your own, too!. And make sure to put a spin on the classics and the current major trends!. Same goes for the accessories!.
Hobbies: Massie loves to ride her horse Brownie!. You should stay active and choose a preppy sport!. The top three are horseback riding, tennis, and soccer!.
