I recently planted Foxglove (Digitalis) in my yard!. If I should somehow cause my husband to have a heart attack <wink> Can I feed the plant to him and revive him!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well if you're making your hubby exercise so vigorously I'd just keep the Bayer handy after all foxglove (AKA witches' glove, dead man's bells, bloody fingers) belonging to the Figwort family (Scrophulariaceae) may be a bit too toxic in it's natural state dear Dr!. D!. and may bring on other side effects i!.e!. including dizziness, vomiting, irregular heart beat, and delirium!. Which will definitely make a mess!.

Historically, Foxglove was employed by herbalists for a variety of purposes, from an ointment used for cleansing wounds and reducing swelling to boiling it and using it as an expectorant!.
So perhaps a bit more research may be needed, until then just encourage him with regular cardio maintenance and your vigorous exercising should not cause undo concern or alarm!. Perhaps some oral approaches may be considered!.

But please keep the Lily of the Valley out of your garden!.
