It only annoys me a little!. I don't really use them, usually depending on my mood!. Once I was on Y!A and I was really happy, so I used them!. Now, that I am normal, I do not!. AND I also CANNOT stand when people say 'lol' or tYpE LiKe ThiS!. It's really annoying!. and when people use shortcuts like 2 instead of to!. Ha!. It doesn't bother me at all!. If you think about the reason people use smilies is, because you cant read tone in a sentence!. I could be trying to be sarcastic, and it might come across as me being mean!. But if I add ;) or :P you would know I wasn't being serious!.
