Question: Which is your preferred OTC allergy medicine: Zyrtek or Claritin!?
I take Claritin this time of year for allergies!. haven't taken the Zyrtek yet (not sure how you spell it) but we sell it in the store I work for!.

I don't take either!. I take a natural herbal product that has kept me for 9 years from the constant sinus infections I used to get,!.I first heard about it from a medical doctor who also believed in a more natural way as well!. My greatest fear is that they will stop making it some day!. It's made by a family company in Maine!. It's used for cold/ flu and sinus problems,and has helped me so much, without the usual side effects that you usually get with other medications!. If Claritin is working for you, then there's no reason you should need Zyrtek!.
I was using Claritin for about 2 months and it did nothing for me!. I had nasal congestion in the morning, very itchy eyes, sneezing and runny nose, and an itchy throat!. The pharmacist recommended that I use Zyrtek for my symptoms!. And it's fantastic!Www@Enter-QA@Com

claritin does not work for me!. my sis is an RN and she said claritin has been known to be ineffective for some people!. zyrtec works on me but it knocks me out!.

i've taken claritin!.!.!.my sis has tried both though and she prefers zyrtek!.!.!.sometimes claritin can take awhile to kick in whereas zyrtek would work right away for her!. anyhow, we have both in the house i rarely take either of them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If the Claritin works for you, I would stick with it!. I've known a few people to take Zyrtec and it turned them into Satan's spawn!. Luckily I don't personally don't suffer from allergies too much!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
