I kinda doubt that a god would have to "believe" anything!. I think he'd just "know"

Darth, that is just the way you are seeing things!. Not all people see the concept of a god and science to be incompatible!. Indeed the reason I believe in some higher power is because logic and reason are fantastic at explaining things!.!.!. save for things like how/why logic and reason exist!.
There really is no "reason" behind why this world is understandable, but miraculously it is!. That doesn't mean some god is hanging out there setting up dominos just so you can knock them down and all this crap has some purpose behind it just for you (that is I don't necessarily believe in a personal god)!. However, I find it VERY remarkable that logic and reason can be such powerful tools to understanding this place and that leads me to believe that something capable of logic and reason indeed forged this world we live in!.
Bibles and Korans and Torahs are just things humans wrote down!.!.!. There is something though that IF there is a god, then it was penned by Its own hand, and that something is set of rules that govern this place!.!.!. the rules sciences seeks out to understand!.
EDIT #2: No, scientific theory is never "proven"!. All we can ever do is conduct experiments to show that a given model for reality (that is to say a given scientific theory) is consistent with what we observe!. Probably only limited amounts of it!. This artificial being believes in just enough science to give people the tools they need to survive!. Science is always proving 'god' wrong every day!.
