A gas strike is a pointless gesture!. Unless it comes with meaningful change to the way we consume gas, it does nothing to impact the price of gas or the oil companies!. Most people who willingly participate will simply fill their tanks the day before or the day after!. Very few will give up their cars for a day and either walk, ride a bike, or take public transportation!.
The main reason why it won't have any real impact is because people will still consume just as much gas as normal!. The gas companies will have already been paid for the gas shipped to the gas stations!. And the gas station is still going to sell the same amount of gas whether it's on May 31 or June 2!.
Should enough people choose to participate, it could actually have a negative impact on gas supplies by disrupting delivery schedules!.

I will still get gas, because gas strikes don't work!. They have proven it!. If you say there will be a gas strike on a certain day, and nobody get gas, the next day when you get gas the prices will be higher!. So it is just the consumer who gets the shaft (again) no the corporations!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
