but now that we are adults, we only see them as weeds!?

We have changed!. Before they were a sign of beautiful days, warmer weather and hope for the future happiness of summer!. Now that we have "grown up", they have become a nuisance and one more thing we must pluck from our "yard"!. It's really sad!. My daughter brings me bouquets of them every year!. I look at her and say a half-hearted "thank you" and pretend to be happy that she has just brought me a handful of weeds!. Who changed!? Surely not me, I don't see them as weeds and the neighbor kids are always over here helping themselves to them!.
It isnt really change I don't think, as much as it is keeping up with the Joneses so to speak or a way to show how manicured your lawn can be!.=p

Because some have followed the masses and only see blight where there is beauty!. I think they are quite pretty on an open field but then again I am immature like that!. This is one thing that is cool about being a parent you get to see it all again thru their eyes all that stuff we 'grew' out of!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I'm 28 and still think they're pretty, especially when they've covered a field and it's yellow as far as you can see!. My kids love to bring me dandeliions!. As far as I'm concerned, they're not weeds, just hardy flowers ;)!. They're also high in vitamin C, lol!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I would say because as a child everything is new and fascinating!. As we get older these things are more common and we careless about the little things that seem so fascinating as a child!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
