what if your terribly allergic to dogs, then you get bitten by a werewolf!. how horrible would it be every fullmoon when you turn into a werewolf and your alergies kicked in and you had no pocket for a tissue and you keep wiping your runny nose on your hairy arm and then it crusts up!. ughhh!.

in one word!.!.!.lycantrophy!? well, in cases of lycantrophy, the patient doesn't experience real shape-shifting from a mere man to a wolfman under the influence of the full moon!. the cause of lycantrophy is due to severe mental illness and the patient will behave like a real dog, urinating as he/she pleases, refusing any form of clothing, eating raw meat and all other dog-related behaviors!. their refusal to commit to personal hygiene causes their hair to grow coarse and longish, and matted!. their nails turn yellow and grow so long as to take the shape of animal claws!. that's why in the medieval times, unlearned men of science and mental diseases often took lycantropes as the demon's spawn, or in other words, the legendary werewolves!. there were some real 16th century cases of boys and men who had lycantrophy, who commited awful crimes because of their mental illness and due to the ignorance of many, were hanged to death, without proof and trial!.
anyway, to answer your question how terrible the transformation would be, ummm, i wouldn't be too sure!. pretty unbearable probably!. like a snake shedding its skin or maybe a tad worse than that!. imagine yourself going half insane when you gaze up at the full moon, adrenaline pumping inside you, your senses heightened to the point of driving you to wild insanity, the uncontrollable hunger for blood, meat and lust all rolled in one!. like your wolf brothers, your hearing, sight and smell, those three crucial senses toooooooooo sensitized during your transformation 'til you can hear the river coursing ten miles away, you can see a little bettle two miles away from you and you smell the scent of a human about miles away!. and then, you drop painfully to your knees, rolling in pain as your bones and joints twist into the bone structure of a human-wolf hybrid!. the scream that came out of your mouth melting into a low animal howl and your human teeth sharpened into points that now become fangs!. and you feel the sharp, short pain of thick, black bristles pushing their way out of your skin all over your whole back, forearms, cheeks !.!.!. not quite the furry wolf, but still wolf-ish in appearance, without the tail, of course!. and your hands and feet have that twisted and clubbed look of wolf paws with yellowed claws!.
