I also went to school in the 70's and the headmaster had a selection of belts he used when you where sent down there for "six of the best" the worst thing was that most of them where split into 'fringes' at the bottom to make the stinging worst!. Then you had to say sorry and where made to stand out in the corridor under a statue of the virgin Mary for ages so that everyone could see you'd just been punished!. great days! If the boys were mean to the girls the nuns made us wear one of the extra girls dress uniforms with a bow in our hair!.

You then had to play with the girls and they showed you no mercy with their teasing!Www@Enter-QA@Com
