Because there is another world that we do not have the physical aparatus to detect (like infra red can't be detected with the naked eye) and it's rules and laws govern this one!. It has a moral code that rule too and have consequences that cannot be legislated against or changed regardless of how many protest against such!. Our bodies and human nature are telling us that there isn't any of this!. That's why we must endeavor (how ever feebly so) to walk in the spirit (once we're born again)!. Not the 5 physical senses and the nature of the flesh!.
