As a southerner, I am an expert on those!. They are too horrifying to describe!. You do NOT want your mother or your teacher to have one--EVER!. They are almost always thrown by females!. They occur when someone has done something that is totally unacceptable to the hissy fit thrower!. The hissy fit itself, though too horrifying to describe in detail, does involve very loud language, very intense gestures, lecturing to the highest level, maybe even stomping or the physical misplacement of various breakable items in the near vicinity!.
