I've never heard of Peter for a girl's name but it's kind of cute!. If people give you a hard time and it really bothers you, think of a nickname for yourself (if you don't already have one) and ask people to call you by it!. And, introduce yourself to new people with your nickname!. If if doesn't bother you much, then ignore everyone!. At least you're unique!.
