Question: Are rides still open at Cedar Point during "Scattered thunderstorms"!?
i wanna go tomorrow but it looks like we're in for scattered thunderstorms, which rides will likely stay open!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I used to live about 15 mins from there, and had a summer pass and was there constantly!.
They will keep rides open until there is rain!. If there are scattered thunderstorms, they are more likely to close the rides such as Demon Drop, Power Tower, Magnum, and that new one (well it WAS new like 3 years ago, the one where it goes up at 90 degrees, curves, then comes back down at 90 degrees)!. I don't think they give refunds due to weather!.
I was still riding rides when it was sprinkling!. They will even keep running if it is raining!. They will stop them in an instant at the first sign of lightning!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They do keep the rides open as long as it's not too wet for the brakes--you really do kind of need them!.

The only ones that will close are the really high ones like Millennium Force, Power Tower, Top Thrill Dragster, etc!. If it's really bad then they'll shut down all roller coasters!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
