very much for it, we need to continue to explore, it is human nature to want to venture out and discover new things, besides NASA projects have helped develop some cutting edge technology, they are very important and their budget should be increased!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes, the space program is a valuable tool!. We humans by nature are explorers and there will always be that insatiable need to go further!. The Vikings did it, Columbus did it!. The Russians did it first by orbiting the Earth!. We did it by going to the moon!. Someday we will go to Mars or even Jupiter!.
The space program works in ways that may not be apparent such as the International Space Station where certain medicines can be developed in a weightless environment, which changes their structure, which makes them either more effective or stronger with smaller doses!.
There will always be the poor and hungry among us and we've spent many billions of dollars trying to stop it, but the social programs in place are money pits to begin with full of waste and people who get too much or shouldn't get any at the expense of people who can't get anything!.

For example; the economy isnt doing good, global warming exists, food prices have gone way up, our gas situation is a big problem, and now they are talking about how it might reach 9 dollars by 2009!!! when will this craziness stop!?

I understand that we (earth people) need to keep our options open, BUT, with the millions spent on the latest project we could have given all U!.S!. citizens medical care, job training, financial responsibility training, parenting classes, and subsidize our gas!.
