Parking lots are for customers ;visitors; own vehicles !.While coming to part you are not drunk; you can purchase and take the wine home;while going drunk you can use driver!.It is illegal to drive when you are drunk!. Bars are not illegal and drinking is not prohibited!. Businessmen take care of law abiding!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
A person does not have to drink at a bar to have a good time!. A bar is a place for social gathering and a place for friends to mingle!. Drinking usually takes place, yes, but does not have to!. also, there are limits of alcohol that a person can have and still be okay to drive!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
They have parking lots because drinking and driving is big business!. The average D!.U!.I costs the driver about $6000!.00!.
Now multiply that by just 100 D!.U!.I!.'s state wide in a year!. ( I know thats a low number but its easy to count!.) Thats $600,000!.00!. Some department is getting that money, and if drinking and driving were ever eradicated, some government program or department would have no budget!. Nobody wants to loose that kind of money!. That is why in many states its possible to have 3 or 4 D!.U!.I!.'s and not be in prison!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not everyone that goes into a bar plans on getting sh#t faced and because It's an establishment parking lots are required for those who have a car or bike and have no other means to get there!.Does the word designated driver come to mind!?The hopes are that people will be smart enough to designate someone who can get them there and back in one piece!.Where should designated drivers park!?I think although this q is silly,you mean well and that's the best i can come up with!.I hope i was useful!.
