Depends if a string of people are walking through or if it's just a slow poke!. In the case of the slow poke, it depends on if it's a hottie slow poke!. The time I'll hold the door open is thus inversely relational to the distance and hotness!. I may also be more inclined to hold it open longer for someone who is elderly or otherwise disabled!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it depends on who the person is!. A young man doesn't need the door held open for him, longer than 1sec!. For a woman 5-10secs!.
An older woman, or man needs a lot longer up too about 15secs!.
