I know you care about your children but why does the wife almost always have to change them when they poop!?

Seriously! I get to change our daughters just as much as my wife but why do men hate to do this!? They're your kids! I also think they should teach young men how to cook and clean while in school and they should teach young women how to change their oil and a tire! Who's with me on this!?

You know !.!. back when I was in Jr!. High School/High School (and I'm an Empty-Nesting Female Retiree) !.!.!.
I had to FIGHT to be able to take a course in Shop -- to learn how to change my tires and oil and do maintenance on my vehicle!
As a FEMALE -- I can remember being tracked into the "typical" Home Ec type courses -- cooking, sewing, etc !.!.!. and I also remember resenting the fact that I wasn't having FUN like my male classmates were!.
Yes, I had hoped things changed -- but, alas, as someone who was a Long Term Single Parent (and I'm also Honorably Retired Military too -- so you know I raised my children on Active Duty) !.!.!. I was the one who did it all !.!. the Ex was not there (and worse -- he was convicted of abusing them)!.
NONE of this is good !.!. and with society not necessarily supporting a change in "Attitude/Behavior" towards EVEN MORE SHARING of the Family Responsibilities !.!. it is still a long, long ways away from an EQUAL society!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i totally agree with you!. i am a sociology major in college and have almost completed my degree and there are huge debates about young boys being raised in a masculine world!. they are forced to act in a certain manner, which is making them grow up in a certain way!.
anyway, i feel as though we are growing up in a completly different world and that this is going to change!. my husband and i try to act as equal as possible!. we both cook, do dishes, take out the trash, etc!. i am still feminine and run around in a few hundred dollar heels, but i won't lie, i have climbed under a car and changed the oil too!. we if really want to be equal opportunitists, then we have to REALLY equally split lifes tasks!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't mind changing the poopy diaps!. Usually my son craps his pants at the same time everyday and its when I have him while my wife is at work!.
Personally, I think that some woman have the capability to work on cars, however there are some that I wouldn't even let look at a tool!. But I guess there are some guys like that too!.

I totally agree with you!. My mom babied my brothers to the point that when their wives got them, the didn't know how to plug in the sweeper!.!.!. Since I was the girl, I had to do the house chores!. I didn't make that mistake with my son!. he did everything his sister did!. One time my mom told me I was going to make him into a homosexual because I had him disting the woodwork!!! If I'd had false teeth, I would have spit them across the street!. I had no idea she thought house chores made boys gay!!! I'm being drop-dead serious about this!. She was born in a time when, for every human difference, there had to be an explanation, no matter how absurd it was!.!.!. I also know how to change my oil and brakes!. I took an adult ed class at our local vo-tech school!. I can also hang drywall and do basic electrical work!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
well, my father taught me how to change my oil, and tires!.!. and how to fix my carborator!.!.!. and how to re-do a whole bathroom, and fix the sink!.!.!. and he also taught me how to cook, do laundry, mow the lawn!.!. he taught me everything!.!. he was an amazing man!.!. I think this is kind of sexist!. Because honestly, sewing class is open to everyone, cooking class is open to everyone, and home living is open to everyone!. It's the childs choice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I totally, totally agree with you!!!!! This is why all 3 of my teenage boys know how to cook!. I have them cook something at least once a week!. This is also why when we get flats or something wrong with the car my husband call me and my girls out theire to see what he is doing so that if the need come we can do it!. Everyone one in my home cleans so ther is no reason why the boys don't know how to!. But completely and totally agree with you on that one!. Because there is no such thing as women's work and men's work!. It's our work because we all have to live in the same home together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
